Our classes run on 8 weeks cycle. Each week we teach new steps with revision from previous weeks. By the end of the eight weeks students will have learnt a dance routine which they can use in social dancing.

Please pay for lessons (and have your hand stamped) upstairs in the Main Hall before your class starts.

Beginners Course

Next 8 weeks course starts 13th July 2008. Students may join this course at anytime, however new students are advised to join at the begining of the cycle.

Basic salsa steps and turns are taught as well as merengue and bolero.

Intermediate Course

Next 8 weeks course starts 15th July 2008. Salsa and bolero sequences are taught, building on from the material taught in our Beginners Course.

Intermediate students from other schools are encouraged to join our Beginners Course first. As we teach Puerto Rican style as well as Colombian foot works, students from other schools may find difficulties in performing these steps.

Advanced Class

Advanced students may join this class at any point, prerequisite knowlege of Puerto Rican style and Bolero is required, to be able to perform the new variation of advance steps.

Social Dance

Music played includes salsa, merengue, bolero, cumbia and occasionally gaffiera, lambada or zouk. The night normally concludes with a couple of tangos from the River Plate.
